I want to be heard!
Childhood is the happiest time in human’s life… I can agree with this
statement. But I am against the idea, that children don’t have serious
problems. Of course, they don’t have to think about money and many
other things. But grown-ups forget that childhood is the time when
the personality is formed. “School years” are the years when a person
discovers the world, learns how to cope with difficulties, to deal
with people and chooses the way of living he likes. It’s awfully difficult,
because mixing with people is quite important and very pleasant. But
because of various hardships, problems with parents a child retires
into himself. He has nobody to talk to. More often it happens when
his or her parents take a decision to divorce. Many people divorce
nowadays, more than a half of them do it. They don’t care about their
little children, who are caught in the cross fire. Day after day they
have to look at the quarrellings of their mom and dad. The worst thing
is that they both fight for their children with each other. They begin
to play the game of chance, where the winner gets everything and the
looser just gets a right to see his or her child on weekends. Sometimes
they act even worse, when they say: “You must stay with me, or you
will never see me again!” They don’t understand that it’s impossible
for a child to choose between them! I think that grown-ups should
be more civilized. Throwing tantrums is a wrong decision; it’s just
the way come to deadlock. The best thing to be done is the discussion
of the problem in the family circle without loosing temper and pulling
rank on each other. First of all parents must think about their child,
about his or her emotions. Such problems in childhood will make his
or her life hard, full of enemies, people, who don’t understand him
or her. To my mind our government must issue a law that will forbid
parents to quarrel because it makes their kid suffer. Besides, marriage
is a great responsibility. Two people must think seriously about their
future together in order to avoid such problems. The most important
thing is that every child must be happy, ‘cause childhood is the only
time, when he or she really has an opportunity to lead a care-free
life.
